method : think frameworks | create narratives | experience prototypes | interaction design

A framework outlines the systemic structure of a product, service
or space. Developing frameworks helps to balance and synthesise
market, brand and technology requirements, against people’s
needs and expectancy to establish a design strategy and direction.

Defining a framework creates a clarity of context in which an
interaction takes place and acts as a springboard to explore
new and innovative opportunities. To gain user insight, I use
observation-based categorisation of people in order to make
a creative leap into design.

Frameworks provide a platform to achieve consistent user
experience throughout the design concept, by detailing the
relationships between elements within it, how it is experienced
over time and how the user understands and interacts with it.

Working with frameworks can focus efforts on core interactions
for first release and create a natural evolution to consumers
over time.
