Psion and NTL needed to build a greater awareness of how
their products and infrastructure may need to change in order
for providers to deliver rich content-based services through
digital radio. The aim of this project was to create an inspiration
piece for both companies to use internally.

Using an intense brainstorm and build process known as
“deep dive” and working hands–on with the clients, allowed
very rapid idea generation with exploration of user lifestyles;
different types of content and media; and functionality.
This week long workshop culminated in a series of scenario
experiments shown through a novel hand-held device.

The experiment sketches focussed on the following:
translation of rich media through poor product platforms;
broadcast subscription services; services for time-based events;
personalised content through time-shifting and
how portability and place can enrich services by adding
tangible value to products through collecting media.
