Initial explorations helped to define the market and build a
character profile for the spyfish brand.
In order to evoke an immersive underwater experience,
the spyfish system both physically and virtually was designed
to blend with its environment
Throughout the design of the interface, many options were
explored through building and testing experience prototypes.
In the early stages of the hand controller’s development,
user feedback was achieved by linking a prototype controller
to a Sony Playstation game featuring underwater swimming.
Macromedia director simulations, controlled by joysticks and
with running real time video, allowed me to explore and craft
the graphic and audio on-screen feedback. |
